Applications are being accepted for the the newly-established Abilene Community Garden located in Eisenhower Park.

The garden is a result of efforts by K-State Research and Extension – Dickinson County in cooperation with the City of Abilene. Plots are available for a $25 rental fee to individuals, businesses, and community organizations. Any individual or group interested in gardening is invited to participate.

Fifteen plots are available and will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Some supplies will be available for garden participants through grants received from the Community Foundation of Dickinson County and the Abilene Rotary Club.
