Beginning this past Sunday, the name of De Bruce Grain Inc. was changed to Gavilon Grain LLC. A year ago the Omaha-based Gavilon Grain, purchased the four agricultural lines from the Kansas City, Mo.-based De Bruce Grain.
About a year ago Gavilon Grain began integrating its grain handling, fertilizer distribution and ingredients businesses. Beginning Jan. 1, 2012, De Bruce Grain Inc. and its subsidiaries merged with Gavilon’s operating entities.
According to a news release, all personnel and operations will remain the same under the Gavilon name.
Gavilon operates a grain merchandising operation at 513 W. First.
