The Cooley family, Haskell and JoLee, will present a vocal and instrumental gospel music program called "A Time for Refreshing." This easy-listening style of music is enjoyed by young and old, and has been nominated for Grammy Awards by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. The Cooley's full time music ministry takes them throughout the United States and portions of Canada.
Mr. Cooley has been honored by his nomination as Best Gospel Musician. The Cooleys write many of their own songs, and accompany themselves with Haskell on the piano and JoLee on the bass guitar. Haskell was the pianist for the Weatherfords and the Cathedrals.
Everyone is invited to join in this musical celebration. A potluck lunch will be served in the church basement following the presentation.
