She was retired from the United States Postal Service.
Survivors include her sons, Clarence Rose and Glenn Rose; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Imogene Hutcherson, Pat Tyrell, Ron Head and Jim Head.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; sons, Randy and Gilbert Rose; and her sister, Viola Head.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, KS 67206-2828.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, at the Lakeview Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Silent Bible Baptist Church or the Wichita Association for the Deaf.
