Jeff and Sondy Knitter of Abilene and Nels Espeseth and Gwenn Espeseth, both of Chapman, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Megan Lynn Knitter and Justin Marlin Espeseth.

The bride-elect graduated from Abilene High School in 2006 and Kansas Wesleyan in May 2011 with a B.S. in nursing. Her grandparents are Bill and Phyllis Sherbert and Walter Knitter Jr., all of Clay Center.

The groom-elect graduated from Chapman High School in 2007 and from Manhattan Technical College with degrees in auto body and collision repair and electrical power and distribution. He is currently employed by DS&O Rural Electric. His grandparents are Nevoy and Kathy Hettenbach of Chapman and Belva Espeseth of Edmund, Wis.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 24, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church in Chapman.
