Letters Policy
We welcome letters to the editor as a way to express your opinion and to enjoy your freedom of speech. To be fair, we ask that you address issues, not personalities. Letters may be sent to the publisher at the mailing address shown above or via e-mail to publisher@abilene-rc.com. The newspaper reserves the right ot edit all letters and also may choose to reject any letter. All letters must be signed and include telephone number and address. In Dickinson County we ask that you provide an address that will be printer with your letter so that we may eliminate any confusion possible with similar names. We live in a free society, and a person should be able to state his or her opinion without fear of retribution. We believe this policy fosters people to submit letters to the editor.

Obituary Policy
Obituaries from accredited funeral homes are preferred. The Reflector-Chronicle reserves the right to edit the content. Paid obituaries are also accepted. Deadline is 11 a.m. Monday through Friday for that day’s edition. Call 785-263-1000 and ask the newsroom for more information.

Submissions
All items submitted for publication in the Abilene Reflector-Chronicle must be the property of the person submitting the item or there should be written permission from the copyright holder.
